Nature around La Paz is a vibrant and a surprising mixture of some of the most unique marine life in the world and tropical flowering deserts. A landscape of contrasts. Sea of Cortés is home to such a unique and phenomenal ecosystem that it was once baptized the “Aquarium of the World” by Jacques Cousteau.
Together with friends I have experienced the whale shark close up and explored the desert wonders.
In this post from La Paz, I will first of all show you some of my finds in the desert.
