UNESCO

What is UNESCO World Heritage Sites?

UNESCO was created in 1945 as a means of ensuring the conservation of the world’s natural, cultural and intellectual heritage.

UNESCO is our legacy from the past, what we live with today, and what we pass on to future generations. Our cultural and natural heritage are both irreplaceable sources of life and inspiration.
